About Us


The Capital City Blackhawks is a 501(c)(3) non profit American Youth Football Organization based in

Chesterfield County, Virginia. Our program was founded in January 2015 as a dream to provide today's
youth from all spectrum's of life the opportunity strive for success and personal growth in and out of sports.

We place emphasis on the importance of self-discipline & positive interaction, while building self esteem,
and communication skills to develop future leaders in the community.


Our Mission:

The Capital City Blackhawks primary objective is to provide quality competitive youth teams in the Virginia
area, develop fundamentals, good sportsmanship, promote the concepts of teamwork and enhance their
athletic skills  while maintaining scholastic excellence.


Our coaching staff come to this area with a wealth of experience and knowledge about youth sports. We
have been active in youth sports throughout the Chesterfield Community & surrounding areas, collectively
over 20 years. We also invest in pre-season coaches training & concussion seminars so that your child
receives quality instruction during practices and games. When you play for us, your child will not only make
life-long friends with other children throughout the community but will obtain help setting goals and creating
the road-map to achieve their career plan(s).

Although we are a new organization, we seek to provide a high quality environment where our families, and
children, can socialize and interact with one another. Our passion is the youth. Our philosophy is promoting
a WINNING attitude, while remaining humble with success. In order to meet these objectives, the Capital
City Blackhawks solicits your participation and involvement. The Capital City Blackhawks is both a nonprofit
and 100% volunteer organization. Registration fees from our players only cover a portion of our
costs. We rely on the financial support of the communities businesses to help us provide a positive
experience for the youth that participate in our programs.
